Champions of the Environment celebrates Women and Heritage, and the choices that we make in urban and rural settings

Communicated through music, dance and poetry this moving drama tells of our clouded desires and the clarity that we experience when we are true to our hearts, customs and natural heritage. How our natural heritage is (or can be) a great unifier because it belongs to all of us.

Human heritage is however, more complex and often acts as a divider amongst us, yet we continuously strive to come together as one because that fills us and takes away the aloneness./p>

This project was made possible by the grant of R1,200 000 from the National Lotteries Commission (“NLC”) and forms a segment of conversations regarding women’s identity and heritage in our changing times.
